Specifications
Each V-MAG® unit is manufactured using Neodymium, the strongest class of permanent magnets available. Neodymium magnets retain their magnetic strength over time, supporting consistent and reliable long-term performance for 50+ years.
To ensure durability in demanding environments, each unit is encapsulated in EPDM rubber coating with excellent resistance to heat, ozone, and weather. This protective layer enhances surface grip (coefficient of friction) while safeguarding both the magnet and the contact surface.
V-MAG® has been subject to extensive testing programs from 3rd party notified bodies, including prolonged exposure to simulated subsea conditions. These tests evaluate long-term performance factors such as corrosion resistance and material integrity confirming suitability for extended subsea deployment.
Each unit is delivered with pre-fitted A4 stainless steel bolts, allowing for secure and application-specific installation.
